Happy Halloween!

\
This year, Rosalie was a snow leopard for Halloween. This choice stems from the still-exciting game that she plays with some buddies on the playground (originally it was "Lions versus Bad Guys," two years ago; now it's diversified slightly. But wildcats still prevail).

Here's the Big R with some folks from her classroom.

The Queen of Hearts, pictured above, is a good buddy of Ro's. She's a cool kid, and so are her parents.  They have had several play dates.

This Seahawk was Rosalie's table partner at the beginning of the school year.
 More table partners.

Here's some general pre-trick-or-treating fierceness.

We ran into some younger friends when out trick-or-treating the local businesses in the afternoon.

Oh yeah. Also, I was a penguin.

Shortly after trick or treating, Rosalie started having a sore throat. Just a little post-fun strep throat, you know. She's better now, after a round of antibiotics.

Rosalie has started making her own breakfast in the mornings.  I hang out in the kitchen with her, and I offer advice or verbal guidance if she needs it,  but it's really her doing all the work. Here, she's making blueberry pancakes. Go, Ro!
